Cold Sesame-Flavored Kimchi Pasta

Last night, after the hula class, I again ate out with my bf.

We went to a casual pasta restaurant called Popolamama. The name "Popolamama" comes from the combination of "Popolare" which means in Italian "popular" and "mama" as a symbol of family. They use the core portion of qualified durum wheat with semolina mesh and provide more than 50 items including pizza, salad, antipasta and dessert. They have more than 100 restaurants in the Tokyo area, Hanshin area, South Hokkaido, Hokushin'etsu.

We once went there long ago and we didn't find it good, so we didn't go there since then. But recently I saw on TV that they changed the way they serve the pasta. To serve before it gets soft, the cook will bring the dish directly to your table when it's done. After knowing that they are particular about their pasta, I really wanted to try it out, so we went there yesterday.

I ordered "Cold Sesame-Flavored Kimchi Pasta" (upper image). My boyfriend ordered "Greedy Genovese" (lower image) which comes with a lot of ingredients. The pasta was really smooth and refreshing. Also, their seasoning was good, too! I think I'm gonna go there again.

Tonight we will eat at home because it is too tired to eat out everyday, you know!

Anyway, I bought another pa'u skirt since the shipping fee was free for 3 days! What do you think of these four? Which do you think I purchased?! (The one I bought was sold out this afternoon! Whew!!!) Don't laugh at these pics. I just wanted to make sure which looks nice on me. Ha-ha ;)

Tomorrow I'm gonna visit the Hawaiian festival at a department store. I hope I find something I like!

Have a good weekend :)
