This is something about Tuesday.As a wedding present, I had le poupelin's roll cake (Swiss roll) at work. They use only egg, sugar and flour to bake the sponge cake and use high quality fresh cream for the filling! BTW, roll cake is a popular cake sold in Japan. Something like cheesecake or angel food cake in the US.
Simple is best!
The sponge cake was soft and the cream was silky, smooth and delicious. Perfect sweetness! Not that sweet at all!
Mmmmmmmm Yummy! I could eat a whole roll :P
I am eating a cake almost every day!!!
