Today, I found an interesting site called foursquare and created an account there out of interest.

Foursquare on your phone gives you & your friends new ways of exploring your city. Earn points & unlock badges for discovering new things... Foursquare lets you leave tips (cafes, parks, museums, bars, etc... or you can add your own venue) for your friends to discover when they check-into places. You should leave tips to let people know about your favorite experiences - foods to try, drinks to order, things to do, artwork to see... really, anything you find amazing.

Isn't it cool?! But, lately, there are too many ways to exchange information with your friends over the Internet. I don't know whether I'm gonna keep this account or not...

Anyway, how many accounts do yo you have and how often do you check or update them?!

I have an account at here (blogger), twitter, facebook, foodbuzz, cookpad, orangepage, mixi, plus many other sites... I check and update about 5 accounts a day... Crazy, hah?!

It is very warm today. High is 65F (17C)! But tomorrow it will drop down to high F50s (10Cs). Need to be careful not to catch a cold!

Nano Care EH-SA42

Nano Care EH-SA42 is Panasonic's latest beauty appliance, which was launched last November. You can use it over the makeup while at work (at your desk) or watching TV :D

Mostly, ionic steamers require you to fill them with water, but this product keeps your surroundings moist by collecting moisture in the air! Don't you think it's cool!? Thus, if you turn on this item, you won't suffer from dry skin throughout the day.

Last Christmas, I received it from santa (my darling) and set it on my desk at work ;) I sometimes felt lazy to go to work, but now, if I think I'm going to a spa everyday, I don't mind it at all. I'm at my desk almost 8 hours a day, so I think I'm fully taking an advantage of it! For those who don't want to go to work, I recommend you to set this item on your desk. Ha-ha!!!

Anyway, talking about the result, not a drastic change, but I think it keeps my skin moisturized! Better than nothing, right?!

Voice Band for the iPhone

This is such a funny application!
After watching at this video, my darling bought it at 350yen ($3.50)...

A new iPhone app that turns your voice into an instrument in real time. You sing into the iPhone, and it turns your voice into a guitar, a bass, synth, etc. The entire song in the video is created with just a voice singing into the iPhone.



Voice Band doesn't simply change your voice to sound like an instrument, it actually plays a real sampled instrument which follows your singing. Want to jam to a guitar solo with your favorite bands? Voice Band lets you play along with your iPod library, too!

This sounds cool! Maybe I can use the mic to enjoy karaoke :D
Anyway, I don't think my darling can fully use this app...
I sometimes don't understand how he spends his money. Ha-ha.

Damn Perfectionist...

Yesterday, I realized that I was cooking my best in the other direction. I sometimes misunderstand things when not explained clearly. Am I offbeat?!

I love to create things but I'm currently under huge pressure... I think I need to stop everything, relax, and start it over again X(

I just had a "good luck shrimp tempura udon" at Ajinomingei yesterday, but here comes this result... I hope good luck comes after the bad one!

Okay!!! I'm gonna replan everything for January this afternoon.

My darling showed me an interesting video the other day.

Do you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?



I first saw it anti-clockwise, but after a while I saw it clockwise and couldn't see it the other way any more. How about you?!

The Right Brain vs Left Brain test!
If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa. Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

Decision-Making Time!

At a restaurant, how long do you take to decide what you want to drink and eat???

Me?! I think I need at least 5 minutes for a drink and 15 minutes for foods... So, once in a while, my darling and I have a small fight! Needless to say, looking at a food menu before deciding what I want for a drink is out of the question!!!

On this day, I was looking at a pasta menu... my darling took my picture and laughed (luckily he enjoyed) but I was serious!!!

I sometimes give up and ask my darling what he wants to eat, but he is scared of me saying his decision was wrong... so he doesn't like to decide instead!

I think women understand me!

Silly Me...

Am I goofy, or what?!

I always think I make a silly mistake.

Last week, I cleaned my mouse at work, off the top of my head, for the first time in 5 years, and broke... I think removing the dirt was not a good idea for my well-thumbed mouse. Anyway, I bought a new mouse with a new mouse pad, so now I'm feeling okay, but silly me...

Then, yesterday, I received my new passport. I changed my signature to my new last name along with my change in last name without thinking anything but now I realized I didn't have to change my signature! I mean, it is just a signature, so I can use my maiden name!!! I called the passport center but they told me they don't accept any change until I lost or damaged it! Oh boy...

Then again, yesterday, I bought a new ink for my pen but the color was wrong!!! I totally believed the salesperson, so I didn't check the color. Hasty shopping, double work...

Then one more for yesterday. I put a hot pan on the table without a mat, so the table was roundly burned... X( I haven't done this for many years... but why yesterday?!

I sometimes think I need to think more before I act!

Hair Accessory Gift

Yesterday, my friend sent me a cute beaded hair accessory with a card as a wedding present. Can you believe it is handmade?! I readily wore it to work this morning! Thank you!!! (Sorry I couldn't adjust the exposure correctly...)

BTW, DECO CHOCO that I reordered arrived! What do you think of the frames?! Cool, right?! ;D I put them into pink bags and gave them to my co-workers.

I am busy today, so I gotta go now. I hope I could list my accomplishments in November this week or so...

The Day Before 30!!!

I am going to be 30 tomorrow! Can you believe it?! Time flies. But strangely, I don't mind it recently. Maybe because my late 20s was productive so I am ready to become 30! He-he :P My darling told me that I need to thank for living healthy for 30 years! That is true :D

There are still so many things I want to do. I hope I can live healthy with my darling "with smile" and do whatever I want without regret. Plus, never giveup to stay young. Ha-ha!!!

Nothing special but I just wanted to leave something the day before.

Clear Blue Winter Sky

Hi there! Today, the weather in Tokyo is nice and clear! The image is from last Saturday, near our home along the river. We have the same blue sky today :D

This weekend, a bathroom cleaner is coming! I hope he does a great job like last year!

My DECO CHOCO is now attached to my PC with magnets! Yep! I ate three of them already :P

Tonight, we have a co-worker year-end dinner party after work. Many year-end parties follow from next week! I need to eat healthy and go to GYM when possible!!!

Last month, I did many things in the last minute and couldn't able to complete some of my tasks, so this month I will "act at once"! Consequently, I'm running out of time to write about our restaurant tour, so I will write about my darling instead ;)

Amazon Kindle is a software and hardware platform developed by Amazon.com subsidiary Lab126 for rendering and displaying e-books and other digital media.

My darling loves to read books, and now he's reading English books for his study, so recently he purchased Kindle! It just started to support Japan to access the book contents. Still can't read Japanese books, though. Anyway, he is reading Kindle all day long like playing video games! Ha-ha!!! Good for him ;)

Damn!!!

It is already December. It's my birth month! But the start was too bad... This morning, I had a fight with my boyfriend. Actually it was from last night. Oops, maybe I need to call him hubby from now on! Anyway, then the touch screen of my iPhone suddenly broke!!! Can you believe it!? Now I reset it, so it got better, but still in a state of uncertainty... Moreover, I couldn't make an entry for DV-2011 last night since the site was really busy!!! I should have applied for it ealier since I knew it from the beginning of November. Boo!!!

On the other hand, I have a good news. I was asked to create 30 recipes by the end of January for a certain sake brewery's website! I hope I can expand my activities from the next year.

Only Minerals

Hi! It's raining and cold again.

Have you ever tried mineral foundation?!
Recently, I switched my foundation from liquid to powder since I realized that my acne gets worse by using the liquid one. Taking this opportunity, I decided to get the mineral one! Liquid covers well, though.




Only Minerals foundation is high quality, 100% mineral-based foundation produced by a Japanese company called YA-MAN. I don't do it, but you can sleep with it! I've used it for 2 weeks and seems like my acne is recovering. The foundation covers well, so I think I'm gonna use it for a while. Anyway, I am so fool that I have used the liquid for 6 months to ruin my skin X(

BTW, yesterday, Digital Marketing Next 2009 was not that interesting. Most exhibitors were poor at explaining their products. But I enjoyed the seminars. Cookpad's (recipe site's) WOM seiminar was quite interesting since I use the site every day ;)
