ASHIURA RAN RUN removes dead skin on feet.



I was pretty nervous to try it out but my friend said it worked on her, so I finally did it yesterday!

According to the instruction, they start to peel after 5 days. Now bottom of my feet are dry and stiff. I hope it is working!!!

Palty Bubble Hair Coloring: Marshmallow Ash

Do you remember that I said I use Kao Prettia Bubble Hair Coloring: Natural Ash?

I found a similar NEW product from Dariya Cosme called "Palty Bubble Hair Coloring: Marshmallow Ash". Tsubasa Masuwaka (益若 つばさ) is on it's package! She was one of the most popular Popteen (gal magazine) models and now she produces Japanese eye makeup and fake lashes brand Dolly Wink!

Anyway, why don't I try it out!!!

Product Review:

It doesn't have a bubbly texture like Prettia but very easy to apply. I didn't like the way it leaves small crumbs in the bubble (you will know if you use)... but the ash color was pretty nice! It was darker than I thought but I liked it! But Prettia has been sold for many years and they have once improved their product! So, I am sorry but I would go for Prettia the next time. haha But if Palty improved the product, I will definitely try it out!!! I really didn't like the texture of the bubble...

I CAN'T Drink Sake!

I am really a cheap date but I can drink Sake, Shochu, or wine.

Recently, I won a lot of Shochu. Also, my darling and I bought a bottle of sake and I drank them little by little every day.

Then guess what happened!!!

Acnes!!!

I think I cannot take a lot of sugar... To tell the truth, I cannot eat cakes or chocolates. They always ruin my skin after a while.

Anyways, now the sake is used for my dishes. For cooking is okay since I'm not drinking the broth. LoL

Also, I now try to drink alcohol (that contains sugar) once a week!

Just rumbling... I will edit my next video today!

2TB HDD

On the weekend, I finally got 2TB HDD. Last time I bought 500GB HDD but that is already full after 4 months.

I wish I could get HDD larger than 2TB but I found it is pretty expensive that you can almost get a new PC!!!

I know I'd better reduce the length of each clip but it is pretty risky if you turn on and off the power too often. I prefer the follow shot since I won't forget turning on the power! It sucks when I forget turning on when I'm cooking X(

Anyways, I am moving my video data out from my computer to make room!!! I'm afraid that I cannot make any back up... since they are really large...

Waste Edible Oil Illumination

This morning, I saw on the news that Meguro River (in Tokyo) is illuminated with Sakura (pink) LED lights that light up using biodiesel fuel （BDF） made from used cooking oil!!!

Wet Wipe Strategy 2

My Wet Wipe Strategy is kind of failing once in a while because of it's convenience that you have to close the package with it's seal securely.

Therefore, I bought a Hello Kitty wipe case!

I hope this works better!!!

It was sold at 3 bucks at a drug store because there was a small fly inside the plastic package. I don't know why it got in but it doesn't matter because I can remove it later! LoL

It's already November and I just realized it has been half a year since I quited the job. Time flies...

Please!!! No More Earthquakes!!!

I just wrote the same thing on FB. We expect a huge earthquake tomorrow or day after... Some people are buying emergency supplies and so do I have a helmet on hand! I hope nothing happens but "If you are prepared, you don't have to worry"!



I think you now already know why I started my YouTube channel. I just want to share my recipes and wonderful foods we have here in Japan!!! I appreciate that I could share my recipes for 5 months (almost 50 recipes) because when I started my channel, I thought I could not even do this for this many times!!! Sorry if this sounds like I am going to die. LoL But seriously I am telling you this because some people think that I am sponsored or whatever... I have no time to create something for near-term benefit (if that the case, I wouldn't quit my job! LoL) but create something that I think is good! Since 311 I appreciate myself and all others being alive every single day and try to BEST use my time, cooking up a storm. haha

Tai Chi (太極拳) and Qigong (气功)

This morning, I did Tai Chi (太極拳) and Qigong (气功) at the gym, for the first time in my life, since I thought I would not be able to attend the muscle training class at night due to the approaching Typhoon #15!

For me, Tai Chi (太極拳) and Qigong (气功) are something that Chinese people practice in a park (along the river) in the morning. I thought they would be easy since the movement is slow but they weren't X( I thought I need to practice to actually feel the power. haha

The weather is terrible outside X(

I hope the Typhoon passes away soon.

Typhoon #15

Tomorrow, Typhoon #15 is expected to hit Tokyo area with full force. I think this summer we didn't have a great weather and now moving into the fall. Still hot at high 29C though.



On Saturday, I attended my friend's wedding reception. They gave me a lot of love and happiness ;D I love attending wedding party♥

Silver Glitter Gradation Nails

This weekend, I'm going to attend my friend's wedding, so I did calgel nails (which lasts for a month) at the salon.

I have to make cooking videos, so I kept my nails short and chose very simple yet glittering color ;) They were 30 bucks! How do you like them?! hehe



As you know by now, last time I did my nails was a year ago on my wedding! I matched my nails to our wedding theme "Heart Full NY Central Park".

Brings back some memories ♥

10 years after 911

Time flies.

Microwave Cooking Safety

Do you think microwave cooking is unsafe?!
Do you think microwaving food in plastic wrap or container is dangerous?!

Long time ago, I once heard it is unsafe but nowadays I don't. Microwave cooking is very popular in Japan, and I think we don't care about it. So, I was very surprised to receive a lot of comments regarding the safety of it (after posting my microwave cooking videos).

Therefore, I contacted my microwave manufacturer (National / Panasonic) and my plastic wrap manufacturer (Asahi Kasei) to hear what they would respond.

Microwave Safety:
- The radio waves would never leak from microwave and of course it is not visible. (The light in the microwave is to check if the food is done or not.)
- It would never cause chemical transformation into toxic forms. Microwave is out for more than 40 years and there is no such an issue.
- The major drawback of the microwave oven is that food doesn’t heat evenly, which means bacteria and other micro-organisms can thrive in the cold spots. Therefore, microwave oven can be dangerous if foods are cooked unevenly.

Plastic Wrap Safety:
- They don't use harmful substance.
- Just make sure the upper temperature limit before you use microwavable plastic products. However, even if it melts, the food is edible.

These are the answers I received for the products I use, so just make sure with your manufacturers to ensure the safety.

My Conclusion:
Overall, it seems safe if you cook foods thoroughly using microwave.

But who knows what would be said after many years. Therefore, I would say it is better not used for the main source of cooking if you are skeptical about the chemical transformation on foods cooked in microwaves. Since microwave is very popular, I believe our government (in Japan) would never drill down on issues related to it.

Everyone has their own ideas on this issue... What do you think?!
