Loco Blue

Today, the weather was warm and super nice! I think it was hot rather than warm!!! The high temp was 73F (23C)! After the physical checkup, I hastened to the gym to attend the daytime hula class! I was just in time! Lucky me ;)

Writing about Friday evening, I went to the Hawaiian stores in Ebisu. As I heard from my classmates, there were a lot of flower lais! Unfortunately, pa'u skirts were pretty expensive, so I decided to get the pink one (the very left one) online! I can't wait to receive it! I'm gonna go back to the stores with the skirt this weekend or so to get a lei to match it!

For dinner, I reserved a cozy Hawaiian restaurant called "Loco Blue". Their cocktails were unique with Hawaiian aroma. They use drops of Hawaiian liqueur for standard cocktails such as gin and tonic! Foods there were delicious, too! I loved their tuna tempura (left bottom image). I would say this restaurant can be our choice for the wedding after party!

We dine out twice a week and now my bf told me that it is too much! Booooooo!!! But I half expected that lately, so I'm gonna be a good girl!

Today, I finally went to the ward office to get a marriage paper. I fight a lot with my boyfriend but I chose him because I need him in my life, and so does he. I am feeling happy day by day :D

Gotta go now. See you later!

COPERTINO Riserva

Hi! The high temp today is 68F (20C)! Relatively warm ;)

Do you drink wine? Red or white?
I love red wine!

Last week, my boyfriend and I tasted a wine called "COPERTINO Riserva" at a department store. It was rich and mild with aroma of berry. Mmmmmmmmm :) The price was 1,000yen ($10), so we bought it without hesitation! It was a good deal!!!

It is already Friday. Time flies! This evening, I have a plan to shop at hula stores in Ebisu station. I found many Hawaiian restaurants there, too! Cool!!! I will get the pink pa'u skirt (the very left one) if I couldn't find anything better today!

I can't wait to finish work!!!

Happy Friday :D

Loco's TABLE MAHANA @ Ginza

Today the high is 66F (19C) not that bad!

On Monday, we've been to Hawaiian restaurant called "Loco's TABLE MAHANA" in Ginza. They organize Hawaiian wedding ceremony, so we went to see the place. The restaurant has an exotic Hawaiian look. It was raining hard and freezing outside on this day, but we totally forgot about the weather, which was cool :D

There was a hula dancing show when we got there! Their cocktails were cute with tropical flowers. Foods were creative and delicious! We tried fried orange mayo shrimp salad, pork and vegetables steamed in banana leaf, and ocean's pizza with crab meat, shrimp, squid, and tomato basil sauce!

We fight a lot but we now need to get some ideas for our wedding little by little. Last Sunday, my boyfriend was taking time reading a wedding magazine! Cool!!! I took his pic because it was a remarkable sight! He-he! I hope he actively does research for it. Yep! I won't be naggy!

Bocca Buona is the restaurant where we had a cup of coffee. The cake we had is a grape tart (in season). It was juicy and yummy!!!

Anyway, recently I found not only follower's gadget but also twitter gadget disconnects the Internet at home! Whenever I open my blog or my buddies' blogs with either or both of them, it disconnects! Sucks! Maybe it means I shouldn't blog all the time...

I have more to write but will stop now.

Hula class tonight, again!

Aloha :)

Kichinto

Hello! As I planned, my boyfriend and I cleaned up our rooms! First, I thought I won't be able to organize things, but suddenly I felt uplifted and cleaned up six hours straight! Whew... We couldn't finish all rooms yet but I think we can organize little by little.

To tell the truth, I thought we need a larger house, but before moving, I felt we should throw away unnecessary things to make space! Yesterday, I tried to throw away things that I haven't used for 3 years... It took time to make judgments, though...

How do you clean up your rooms?
Can you easily throw away things???

For dinner, we went to an Izakaya called "Kichinto" nearby. Kichinto means "neatly"! Perfect for us on this day ;) Foods and drinks were great after working hard. Natto, yam, and fish mixture, you wrap and eat with nori (dried laver seaweed) was super delicious (right middle image)! Their okonomiyaki was big enough for us (right bottom image)! Mmm! Satisfying night!

I have a lot more to write.
Hope I can catch up!

It's getting cold day by day. Stay warm!!!

Creamy Oyster Spaghetti @ Mia Angela

Hi there! It is raining here today and suddenly getting cold. The high today is 60F (15C), so I brought my overcoat with me.

On Saturday, my boyfriend and I had a dinner at a neighborhood Italian restaurant called "Mia Angela". The restaurant uses farm fresh ingredients from Hokkaido and cook them in the Italian way, which is cool! Actually, it was our third time to go there but we enjoyed their food more than before after seeing the restaurant featured on TV ;)

We ordered some dishes from today's special: yacon and sausage slices, spinach and smoked salmon salad with grapefruit, oyster spaghetti, and deer steak with inka no mezame (potato).

To tell the truth, I hate oyster but I tried the spaghetti since it was recommended! Oh my god, the oyster was creamy and meltingly delicious! There wasn't any fishy smell at all! I once heard that the good oyster melts in your mouth, and was true!!!

You can also enjoy wines at a reasonable price. Barco Reale di Carmignano was recommended for gibier, so it went great with the deer steak!

We had a romantic Halloween dinner. I wish I could go there again.

I have a lot more to write, including my accomplishments last month! Will continue on the next posts ;)

Tonight, my boyfriend and I are going to try a dinner at a Hawaiian restaurant where you can hold a wedding party. We are planning to see many restaurants from this month to find a place we like. Hope we don't fight!!! My boyfriend always tells me that he loves me. He always makes me happy taking me to nice places. I just don't know why I think in that way and feel sad... I need to be happy!!!

Tomorrow is a holiday (Culture Day). My plan is to clean up our rooms! Have a good day and see you on Wednesday :D

Marron Glace Flavored Chocolate

Today, the weather is super nice. The high is 75F (24C)! It should be a nice day to take a walk at night.

Anyway, following rum cake flavored chocolate, I tried another newly-released LOTTE's Specialite: marron glace flavored chocolate. It was rummy and delicious, too!!! Damn! I can't stop eating... Bad for my acne X(

Anyway, I have an appointment for a flu shot this afternoon!

Then tonight, I'm going to see my friend from NY! Her boyfriend (Ted) is coming, too! They are going to see her parents for marital stuff!

Oops. I spent too much time browsing twitter "lists" stuff... I need to go back to work!!!

Happy Friday :D

Top of the Fuji

Hi! The weather today is nice again. The high is F70(C21). I still don't need to wear a heavy overcoat!

Days ago, my co-worker gave me a souvenir from Fuji mountain called "Fuji no itadaki (top of the Fuji)". It is a chocolate crunch shaped like Fuji mountain. The white chocolate on top looks like snow. Isn't it cool?! Most of the time, souvenirs are wrapped in pretty nice packages but don't taste good. However this chocolate was good!

Tonight, I have hula class again! I am going to get another pa'u skirt shortly. I want to get one for Christmas, but couldn't find any Christmas design :( Which do you think is cute?!

Bye for now!!!

To The Herbs

The weather today is nice again. I can't believe that freezing cold weather on the weekend! I wore a fleece jacket automatically!

On Sunday, we've been to To The Herbs to get some herb tea! It warmed us up and made us feel relaxed :) I had 4 deadlines due Monday, so my hands and brain were busy, though.

Like jose says, dining out is a good idea for couples being together for a long time. While dining, we can share our thoughts and ideas. In this way, we understand each other more. We kept on doing this for 6 years, so maybe this is why we are still together after anything. Mostly, I talked, so he knows me a lot. Ha-ha!

Peace!!!

Bistro AGuRi Shibuya

Last night, it was freezing cold and raining hard because of the Typhoon #20. Luckily, it passed away while we are sleeping, so we have clear blue sky this morning :D

Anyway, I am sorry for those who read my diary yesterday. I saved it as a draft since I made some people worry about us. I received some e-mail messages... I'm so sorry!!! We are doing fine. We just fight once in a while...

On Friday night, my boyfriend took me to a nice Izakaya called "Bistro AGuRi" in Shibuya. Their grapefruit sour with pulp was really delicious. I loved it's natural taste. Also, all dishes were simple but tasty! I liked the way they fully use the freshness of the ingredients. We had, salad, yakiniku, egg stir-fried tomato and fish sausage, and dumpling soup.

I have some more to write, but will continue tomorrow ;)

See ya!
