KUMON Cube Blocks (EXTRAS by kids)

FYI: https://amzn.to/3I9RO9y

Recorded by kids while I was editing my next video 😂

This toy is focusing to develop below skills.
1. Shape Recognition Training
2. Thinking Skills

【How to play】
Start with the guide/sample card and the 2D pattern. After several shapes completed, try the more complicated 3D patterns.
"Cube blocks" contains 50 colorful blocks. The blocks are made from Japanese beech with paint taking an advantage of wood. Let kids play with blocks freely. Then, follow the questions written on the guide/sample cards as the next step. It can help to develop the sense of position, 2D and 3D diagram, and quantity.

The first step is always the hardest. Please look after kids and don't rush. It is not easy to solve questions, but the basic sense developed by this process is very important for elementary school education.

Rice is a staple food in Japan. If we cannot use a rice cooker, we can cook in a pot. Using a plastic bag will save dish washing at the time of disaster. Or even at camping.

How to Make Chocolate Macarons (NO Macaronage NO Drying) Recipe

Difficulty: Very Easy
Time: 1hr + cooling time
Number of servings: 10 (1.5inch) macarons

Ingredients:
1 egg white
6 tbsp. granulated sugar
6 tbsp. almond flour
1 tbsp. cocoa powder
Chocolate Ganache
* 50g semi-sweet chocolate
* 50ml heavy whipping cream

Directions:
1. Let's make chocolate ganache first because it takes time to set. Microwave the heavy cream for 30 seconds or until hot. Break in chocolate and mix until combined. Transfer into a piping bag and put in the fridge for a few hours to cool completely.
2. Put egg white and granulated sugar in a bowl. Mix and melt the sugar over hot water. Whip with an electric mixer until stiff glossy peaks form. The mixture won't drip when you lift the beaters.
3. Sift in almond flour and cocoa powder, then gently mix with a spatula until combined.
4. Preheat oven to 200C (390F).
5. Put the batter in a pastry bag and snip off the end. Pipe out the batter into an inch and a half circles.
6. Bake at 200C (390F) for about 3 minutes. Then turn down to 130C (266F) and bake for about 10 minutes. Leave in the oven for 5 minutes. Then cool.
7. Pipe out the chocolate ganache onto the bottom-side of half the macaron shells. Match up with top shells to finish.
