Hi there! It is raining here today and suddenly getting cold. The high today is 60F (15C), so I brought my overcoat with me.
On Saturday, my boyfriend and I had a dinner at a neighborhood Italian restaurant called "Mia Angela". The restaurant uses farm fresh ingredients from Hokkaido and cook them in the Italian way, which is cool! Actually, it was our third time to go there but we enjoyed their food more than before after seeing the restaurant featured on TV ;)
We ordered some dishes from today's special: yacon and sausage slices, spinach and smoked salmon salad with grapefruit, oyster spaghetti, and deer steak with inka no mezame (potato).
To tell the truth, I hate oyster but I tried the spaghetti since it was recommended! Oh my god, the oyster was creamy and meltingly delicious! There wasn't any fishy smell at all! I once heard that the good oyster melts in your mouth, and was true!!!
You can also enjoy wines at a reasonable price. Barco Reale di Carmignano was recommended for gibier, so it went great with the deer steak!
We had a romantic Halloween dinner. I wish I could go there again.
I have a lot more to write, including my accomplishments last month! Will continue on the next posts ;)
Tonight, my boyfriend and I are going to try a dinner at a Hawaiian restaurant where you can hold a wedding party. We are planning to see many restaurants from this month to find a place we like. Hope we don't fight!!! My boyfriend always tells me that he loves me. He always makes me happy taking me to nice places. I just don't know why I think in that way and feel sad... I need to be happy!!!
Tomorrow is a holiday (Culture Day). My plan is to clean up our rooms! Have a good day and see you on Wednesday :D
