Renovation Updates: 6th Week

Last week was the 6th week and my kitchen was placed! I heard that the kitchen counter was so big that it didn't fit into the elevator, so the carpenter wrestled it up stairs! Thanks goodness X(

We will apply the ECOCARAT on this side wall (image below)!

This week, wallpaper will be applied. And finally, this coming Saturday, our home will be completed! Time to make a final confirmation :D

  1. Ochi,

What type of wallpapers on your apartment? Is it flowery one?I always like wallpapers as they make the room look so cozy and warm..

I can't wait to look into your new place.

  2. Wow! Congratulations for your home renovations!!! Almost done, it makes me excited as well hahahahaahaah I can't wait to see it all polished and pretty =D I think choosing a small wall to do the accent wall is smart because yes, it is sooo expensive ><

ahahahah Im glad you have nice carpenters! It must've been hard for them to bring it upstairs! Hopefully it wasn't too far up lol, are you going to be furniture shopping soon? and just curious, if your new apartment is being renovated, where are you staying now? lol

Oh and about disney! Im not too sure how much JUST the dining plan was because we paid for the resort and dining plan together, along with our park tickets, the total was 3080$ US, we bought our plane tickets seperately. We actually used an online agent for our package :

I know some people don't trust it but I can reassure you it is safe and they gave us the best deal! The dining plan we chose included this in EACH meal: appetizer, main course, dessert and one non-alcoholic beverage, such a good deal! Breakfast are too, but most of the time they are buffet style lol

  3. Hi jose,

Our wallpaper will be simple white ;) We made everything simple (in cozy and warm color and texture) since we don't want to get bored.

Me, too! I can't wait to see it complete!!!

  4. Hi suki,

    Thanks! Almost done ;)

The brick material we selected was the least expensive (luckily) but still expensive to do entire wall, so we are glad to have the small side wall in our living room. hehe

We will shop our furniture after the removal. We already bought the dining sets but they were out of stock till April... I believe it takes another while to set everything to live.

We are staying at our rental apt where we lived till now. We bought a condo in a different place, so actually we are doubly paying the fee for 2 places for these 2 months. omg...

Buying plane tickets separately is a good idea!!! I always do that when I visit NY because packaged tour with air ticket is mostly expensive!!!

Thanks for the link!!! I will keep that in my notebook for our future vacation :D That dining plan sounds very exciting!!! I think food is important when we travel ;)
