ALBERO Sofa

We finally found the sofa we want!!!

We happened to find it when we shopped in Yokohama. We've already been to IKEA and many other furniture shops but we couldn't find the one we want while seriously looking for it. So this was a result from a chance :D

However, we haven't bought it yet since it is pricey...

What we liked about the sofa is it's WIDE! It's not only wide in width but the length! It is hard to tell from the picture but if you remove the cushions, it can change to a single bed-like bench. But it doesn't look like a convertible sofa, which is COOL!!!

I know we don't need the ottoman (little chair in front) but a low (coffee) table. But the table is pricey, too X(

Shall I order it now using my darling's card?! haha

  2. we have a 2-piece sofa very similar to the albero sofa at home! except it was arm rests and matching cushions. i especially like the long part of the sofa as it makes a nice resting spot for an afternoon nap.

  3. Hi Ochi,

I guess I would buy the albero sofa as it hards to get the comfortable sofa. And it is my second bed since I like to have an afternoon nap on sofa.

  4. Hi Theda!

Sometimes I include too cheap stuff that really makes our room cheap... so I am not that good at decorating house. haha
I wish I can tell what looks the best at home in a blink!!!

  7. Wow that's a nice sofa!!! Im glad it suits all your needs and it definitely does NOT look like a sofa bed! Which is good because I think sofa beds look very sloppy sometimes and not so neat like this one! Yes, I agree buying furniture at once is so expensive, but then again you need it too hahaha I think just take your time with a coffee table and maybe even go to some used furniture stores, you never know, you may find something you love! (Im not sure if those vintage stores are popular in Japan though =S) You should definitely order it hahaha

P.s I still LOVE your dining table!

    Hi mica,

We just talked about the ottoman and he agreed with your opinion! Thanks for your advice. Actually, we tried the sofa with ottoman this weekend and we liked it :D

Unfortunately, the sofa was out of stock at this moment, so we have to wait till June, anyway X( I will post about our ideal coffee table someday soon.

    Hi mica,

To tell the truth, I mostly get my plates at 100yen (a dollar) shop. hehe They have good ones, you know! I think you will like Daiso in Japan. They are awesome :D

My photo of our takeaway foods didn't come out nice… oops… but I will post about it someday soon, too!
