Hot Cake Mix is a very popular and versatile Japanese pancake mix. You can make cakes, cookies, muffins, or any kind of sweets. 

Hot Cake Mix is available at Asian grocery stores overseas. Morinaga and Showa are popular brands.

2-Ingredient Banana Cupcakes (EASY Halloween Recipe Idea)

Difficulty: Easy

Time: 30min

Number of servings: 8 medium (2.4inches/6cm) baking cups

Ingredients:

4 (400g/14oz.) peeled ripe bananas

300g (10.5oz.) hot cake mix

Directions:

1. In a large bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until mostly smooth. Some lumps are okay. 

2. Add hot cake mix and mix well. If the batter is thick, you can add a bit of water or milk.

3. Spoon the batter into the baking cups.

4. Bake in the oven at 180C (350F) for about 20 minutes.
